    NancyDear friends;
    It is with a sad heart and a tear in my eye that I must inform you of the passing of Nancy Stimson today. Nancy was a dear friend of mine and a riding companion and I will truly miss her and her contagious smile. She was also a CIBA board member and a committee chair. Many of you know her as the moderator of the CIBA Speaker series. Nancy was also the heart and soul of Freewheellin Community Bikes.

    This is a note from Nancy’s son, Ted.

    My Mom passed away this evening. She had a nice Sunday with all of us. Katie and I visited her this morning and she was, as always, in good spirits. She had a sip of my coffee, which she said was "Superb!". Katie read her bible verses, which she loved. Our family went to church together and said extra prayers for her along with Anne Rosebrock, our Pastor, who has been a huge support to our family through this process. John, Ellen, Aryl, and my Dad returned for a visit before my brother's family had to leave for the airport.
    My Dad and I returned for a visit this afternoon and it was evident that my Mom's time was running short. We were joined by Katie and my Mom's very dear friend, Amy Smith, to send my Mom on her way. She went peacefully, surrounded with love. We miss her already, but she is in a better place.
    Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. It truly meant a lot to my Mom and all of us to see the huge outpouring of support.
    We will share details about the funeral when they are finalized
