At the Indianapolis Marion County Central Library
Dan Lee developed a love of writing and cycling as a teenager in the 1980s and has stuck with both ever since. Now a public relations specialist for bicycle components maker SRAM, Dan has written
The Belgian Hammer
, about what it takes for young Americans to make it in pro cycling.
Since the Tour de France began in 1903 only a few more Americans have competed in that than have walked on the moon, and far fewer than the number of Americans who have climbed Everest.
This is the story of the new generation of riders - not yet tainted by drug scandals, but still bursting with hope and potential.
This is for the racers among us - and for all of us!
Prepare to be fascinated!
