Indiana Randonneurs Sept 26 200K Brevet

Beginning at the Velodrome in Indianapolis at 8 a.m. on September 26. This is a randonneuring style ride, but does not require membership in Randonneurs USA, and it is free, but riders must register at www.cibaride.org and sign the release before doing the ride. This is a 126-mile ride to Story Inn in Brown County and back in one day (according to randonneuring rules, the ride should be completed in 13.5 hours). There is no support along the route, so riders should be prepared to arrange their own transportation home if they must abandon. Unlike traditional randonneuring events, riders do not need to have a brevet card signed, but if they finish the ride in the allotted time and convey their results to Bill Watts (wwatts@butler.edu), they will be listed as finishers on the Indiana Randonneurs website.
